Cairobill Posted May 25 Posted May 25 (edited) This magnificent TRB6 is on the block as I’m on a one bass only regime and need four strings imminently. This is the early version of the TRB6. Having owned a Patitucci TRBJP1, it's of the same high quality build and has the same spec apart from no maple cap on the body and with a huge slab of high quality rosewood with dots instead of ebony/clef inlays. Pretty sure the preamp is identical. The bass has an ash body, maple neck, rosewood board and, most importantly in my book, a 34" scale. Weight is also great and unusual coming in around 9.5 lbs (4.3kgs). It has a great balance and a wonderful J bass tone with a lot of heft and shapeability with the powerful EQ. Condition is excellent - I even have the little plastic clip on guide to the preamp. Trades are welcome for the following basses. All would need to be on the lighter side of 9.5lbs for a Yamaha (as the old BBs trend heavy) and around or under 9lb for anything else. As I'm the singer in my band, I need something that won't load me up too much. - Yamaha BB2000 - Yamaha BB3000 - Fender AVRI P bass - Stingray Classic - Fender USA Geddy J Bass Pickup/meetup preferred. I’m nr Ashford in Kent. Pics! for a Yamaha sixer, Edited Thursday at 13:37 by Cairobill 8 Quote
