The bass is really well put together, functions with no issues at all, tuners, bridge, truss rod all beautifully operational. Is essentially a brand new bass, condition is excellent. Body is lightweight, well balanced and smooth contours on the heal. Overall it's a very well designed and put together instrument, perhaps given the Yamaha and TRB legacy more generally that's not surprising. The bass has been further upgraded by the addition of Aguilar DCBs and an East unipre (5 knobber with active/passive switch). I only purchased this week from Happypants as I was curious to try something I could tune E-C. It works brilliantly in this regard however the neck is not really what I want for this and I know ultimately it's not a keeper. I am becoming a neck snob as my years advance it seems. Pictures are current with TI Flats on but I'll restring with the original B-G rounds and undo the very minor adjustment I made on the bridge so it's restored as a more conventional 5 string. Also included is the original Yamaha pickups and preamp in case you wanted to fully restore it and reuse the East/DCBs... potential bargain right there some might say 🙂 No case but Happypants packed the bass well (thank you again matey, BC kudos!).
