Had this in a trade two years ago, and fabulous as it is, the poor thing hasn't been played, as no matter how many times I think I need another bass I ALWAYS go back to my Shuker, so this has been noodled on a couple of times and then just remained in a case.

I believe the see through cherry over mahogany was a limited run, and it looks really great. Previous owner, @BaggyMan has meticulously added a vinyl carbon fibre look wrap over the tort pickguard. I think it looks right on this bass but will easily peel off.

There are a couple of tiny nobbles on the headstock, and a couple of faint surface scratches on the back - the one highlighting this was taken with a macro lens.

Strung with barely played DR Hi-Beams for extra sparkle - my plan was to have something the complete opposite to my main 5 string, flatwound fretless.

Collection from Stourbridge, or could meet up in West Midlands. Don't want to courier as I don't have a spare hard case.

Not really playing 4 stringers these days but I'd be tempted to buy this backif i was.  Excellent bass.

Yes, much as I've tried, my left hand always wants to be on a fiver.

This is a great bass.  The colour is called 'rootbeer'.  The MFD series of pickups is a Fender designed masterpiece.  These tribute series basses are great value for money.  G & L  need more love than they get.  Buy with confidence that you will get a great instrument

Yes @Microwave420 it is.

Ah great, been looking for one of these for ages. I'll take it! I'm based near Stratford on Avon, so we could meet somewhere in the middle for pickup? Also is there a message system we can use to organise further or just sort things here (sorry, new to this forum, made an account just for this!)
