Hey all,Ā

Ā

I’ve got an issue with my Squier Jaguar.Ā

Ā

It had a loose jack socket and I’ve accidentally twisted the wireless while it was inside and it’s broken this cable off…

Ā

I’ve never touched pickups or electrics on a bass before but I’d quite like to try and fix this myself as it’s a pretty cheap non gigging bass and, well I need to start somewhere…

Ā

It looks like this little white cable is soldered from the jack socket to the pot that’s marked…

Ā

Am I correct or have I got this completely wrong?

Ā

Also, would I better stripping it off the control plate or just resoldering it in sitchu?Ā
Ā

Thanks in advance

AlexĀ
