I have just been grooovin on bass to this little belter I didn't know existed until yesterday.......what a song!.....now officially my favourite disco song ever..... [url="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glrl4LcvU5g"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glrl4LcvU5g[/url] Can anyone recommend any other Heatwave tracks with funky bass in? (except boogie nights!) Sadly it seems the little fella with the falsetto voice was paralysed in a car crash from the neck down in 1979 and died a couple of years ago. Man those cats can grooooooove...dig the dancing[/quote] I have the discog and was a bit dissapointed to be honest,they feature on a soundtrack for a film with roger moore in called escape from athena which is a lot better,but is quite rare,boogie nights is great though just for the desending line at the start.The bass player got religion after he had an accident. Thunderthumbs Posted June 6, 2009 Share Posted June 6, 2009 (edited) I've always loved Groove Line A cover version was done by The Questions on Paul Weller's "Respond" record label after The Jam split, which is how I got into the record to start with. Tidy little band, shame nothing really came of the band, although the singer (Paul Barry) has had a fair deal to do with writing major hits for others....e.g. Cher's "Believe", Enrique Inglesias' "Hero".
