I'm just interested in where on the neck anyone else plays.

I start postition iv

The 'keep your distance walk away...' bit I start position vii

the mellow bit - position vii

the solo bass bit leading to the triplet runs position xii

the next bit once the triplets have finished - position v

then back to position v for the repeated beginning bit at the end.

So who does what differently?

Never played it myself but Clive posted an excellent youtube clip on here a while ago......
