I've been able to get rid of a load of tat that I didn't need anymore with minimal effort on my part, especially when it came to working out the postage. I even made some money too. I also found my local off license (lovely people!) are now accepting Royal Mail deliveries which has helped them improve turnover and saved me a 20 minute trip to the post office. For small items it’s a brilliant system. 1 Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I think I’m more or less done with eBay .Changes keep being made . Most of any basses I would think about purchasing seem to be only available in Japan these days. Sly added fees to buying as well as selling items . Plus of course the new method of selling is in my experience one massive pita! If I was to purchase anything from a seller , I would contact ( or reach out if you’re a member of the four tops) the seller asking what courier service they use . If it’s EVRI the transaction won’t happen ,and I’ll see if a seller would use my choice of delivery instead .( in my case dpd or Royal Mail ) As for selling , the automated eBay way of doing things means if I did sell something again , I’d have to contact the buyer advising them who I am using . I had to do that a few months ago when selling an fx pedal . Thankfully all was good , but trying to find the item posted button was impossible as I never followed eBay recommended way of dispatching the item . i wouldn’t cancel my details , as I have 100% feedback etc and don’t want to start all over again .
