Hi folks

I used to play electric 6 strings as a teenager and kept dipping in and out as I got older.Ā  Sometimes I'd see a musician who could really play and found it a little off-putting.Ā  Now I look at is 'what am I like today'?

Never really thought about the bass until in a pub one night I was watching a fairly good band and saw that the bassist was plucking with only one finger!Ā  Can't be that hard then, can it?

So I've bought a Dean Explorer, a Fender Rumble 75 and I'm having a great time.

Back in the 80's, before YouTube, learning and playing was more difficult.Ā  Today there are a million bass covers on YouTube!

So yeah, living my best life.

See you on the boards.

Get thee over to StudyBass.com for how to DOUBLE the number of fingers you can pluck with! 🤪

Plus some really good advice on bass essentials and safe technique which might just save your back and wrists - basses are a lot heavier and longer than guitars.
