VitalyGanja Posted September 19, 2023 Share Posted September 19, 2023 (edited) Hello everyone, This probably goes more for all the metal buddies out there - recently I've got an opportunity to face to face the original Microtubes X with version by DemonFX and did a short comparison for those who are interested since there are not that much can be found about that particular clone. Sure, there are differences, some of them are subtle, DemonFX is a bit bigger as it has a classic pedal housing, however power connector is a bit better placed to me personally, etc etc. In terms of sound I prefer my original one for wider level range and I think it has a bit more of a grind than the clone, but anyways for the money I think it is quite a good option to give a try for such type of distortion to understand whether it suits needs or not. So I leave it here more for some informational usage. Cheers!
