hooky_lowdown Posted February 13, 2023 Share Posted February 13, 2023 I have a new (to me at least) fender pj. The p soloed sounds great. The jazz soloed has a really loud buzz, much louder than typical 60 cycle hum. The funny thing is if I turn the jazz volume down 50% or less either soloed or with p on full, the loud buzz disappears completely. I checked the wiring, there's no loose wires or bad solder joints. Any ideas why the jazz pup is so noisy when above 50% with p pup or soloed? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
