farmer61 Posted April 23, 2009 Share Posted April 23, 2009 The new band I'm joining (running along side my band below) use in ear monitors which I have always wanted to use myself. They have the Tx and RX units and suggested I get hold of new ear monitors. Upon a recommendation I bought a new set of M-Audio IE-10's from Scan International. They arrived this morning and to be honest was a tadge dissapointed. Got everything out of the box all seemed ok, had a good visual look and was surprised to see the initials N.G. on the rear of the small carry case in permanent marker. I then proceeded to do an inventory check and one set of the earplugs was missing. On inspecting the packaging there was evidence of food (1 crumb admittedly) and some facial hair (eyelashes etc). Finally there was what appeared to be solid yellowy matter on one of the ear plugs which led me to believe that these "new" ear plugs had been used and returned and then sent out to me. Obviously I've complained bitterly (feckin' unhygenic) and got me money back and will not be using this mob again. I have pics which I'll send them but sending out used (allegedly) earplugs is not nice. Got them elsewhere, cheaper too, luckily I paid with Paypal so if I don't get my cash soon I'll be raising a complaint on there. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
