I had some time this morning to take a few pics of my home-build.
I built this when I was 18 and really didn't have much of a clue (no internet to get info then!)
The body is flame maple with ebony inlays and a rock maple bolt-on neck with rosewood fingerboard [edit: actually I thinks it's ebony!].
I had a local guitar maker make up the neck for me, which he did to my specs and did it very well! It feels lovely to play.
A guy called Kent Armstrong made the pickups for me.
The controls are a switch between active/passive, 3-way switch between pickups (either/both), main volume knob, passive tone knob, active eq control.
The bridge and machine heads are Schaller.

I made the body as thin as possible to keep the weight down, so it's very light. It was a complete fluke that the balance turned out just right.
