One of the funniest bass lines I've ever played…

The other day by chance I listened to Joe Jackson's song "Steppin Out" which I didn't know at all. I was immediately fascinated by the bass line all in octaves with quite fast chord changes ... I had a lot of fun playing it and I decided to record it, this is my version played with my Fender Precision American Pro 2!

Did you know this song and especially this bass line?

Which bass line do you enjoy playing the most?

Very nice and great effort. If you wanted to make it easier, on the original the first chord is just playing the root. Looks like you are playing an F# and the open E where as the original just plays the F# root note. Not as fun though as your version. Bass sounds great as well.
