I received an email from Gerry Hayes at Haze Guitars with a link to a pdf he’s produced which contains pretty much everything you ever wanted to know about truss rods (59 pages!) It’s interesting and comprehensive and well worth a read if that’s your thing.

You’ll need to provide your email address to access the download but I wouldn’t worry about that because you don’t get bombarded with emails and the few that he does send are genuinely useful.
