I have decided to part ways with this, as I am relegated to bedroom noodling now, and I cant see any situation even if my health takes an upturn where I will require a 5 string.

This thing is a beast.

Factory second "Performer Classic (the one with the curved body)" Body and neck - neck required a bit of sanding which I sorted -  (the neck itself was slightly wider than the fingerboard leaving a "lip"), and body had some minor dlaws in the finish (though they are not noticeable unless you really look) - body colour is a strange mix of Holoflash and Translucent black, has the colourchange associated with Holoflash's but more subtle?

Fitted with:

Gotoh GB707 tuners

2x EMG 40DC active pickups

Michalik BP-4 Pre-amp (the guy who makes the TonePumps for spector, this is basicaly a TonePump without the Spector Sticker and Premium price added - identical in every way)

Schaller 3D bridge.

Crown fretmarker stickers have been added to the neck and look pretty nice but could be easily removed.

 

Everything works as it should, I haven't had to tweak the neck since I built it about a year ago. It is VERY high output - the BP-4 has a trim pot which is currently backed off (as you can imagine running active 40DC's into a tonePump gives enough power to stop a charging elephant at 100 paces.

Will put up pictures from the phone shortly. I just find myself playing "The Dood" mostly as its fairly lightweight. Possibly unless I talk myself out of it the CK-4 will be appearing here too, soon.

Trades wise - I am a sucker for P basses, hence "The Dood".
