Anyone want to borrow a short-scale fretless SX P?

Hi all
I have a short scale (30") fretless SX P-bass which I bought when I was struggling with tendinitis and thought the short scale might help. As it turned out it didn't, so it's been pretty much un-used. I'm not sure I want to sell (and anyway wouldn't get much for it) as I may try fretless again if my hands ever recover.

I think I remember seeing a thread about a 5-string that was doing the rounds. Well let me throw this one in to the pot. If anyone would like to borrow it to see whether fretless or short-scale is their cup of tea then let me know and I can send it out to you. Keep if for a few weeks then send it on to the next person. I'll keep a list of who is next in line.

I'd be lying if I said it was the world's greatest bass, it's an SX so you get what you pay for. If there's no interest then it can just stay on top of my wardrobe, but seems a shame!

I'll get a photo up this weekend.

In which case TheButler is first up. PM me your address and I'll get it out to you! Once you've had it a few weeks I'll let you know who the next person on the list is, and you can send it on. Sounds like a plan??

This is obviously an experiment in honesty, so we'll see what happens. I'll only put people on the list that have feedback on Basschat. And ideally positive feedback at that.

If anyone else wants a go then let me know.[/quote]

Hiya, I wouldn't mind a go on this bass once it's free. I want to know for myself whether you really lose tone with a short scale bass or not.
