SOLD!!! - Musicman Stingray
£1200
Finchley

Recommended Posts

Here I have a beautiful Musicman Stingray in translucent Teal Blue.

The neck and board are maple with some light birds eye maple figuring that give it some extra cool points especially up close.

Made in USA, California, this is a perfect representation of what a Musicman Stingray is and should be!

Official Musicman hardcase and also a lovely Levys gun bag style bass case made in Canada back when they used to make them for Musicman.

The weight is 4.1kg

I'm open to trades, looking for something traditional and ideally 5 string (fender usa jazz, precision, lakland) but I'm open to offers of anything so try me.

Sorry but this is way overpriced!

If you check completed listings on eBay, you’ll see that the average cost for a beautiful Stingray 5 of this calibre is worth approximately 50p.

Will you accept a cheque? 😆

GLWTS, a very fine example 👌

Ray35 Bass in awesome looking Honey Burst. Sounds absolutely beautiful. Low b is punching amazing well. In great condition bar one small nick in necm around 7th fret. Only selling as to fund new purchase.
Owned this bass for a couple of years and has been well maintained by myself and previous owner.
Can meet in Renfrewshire/Glasgow area. Any questions please feel free to ask.

      Price now reduced to £1,050.
2001 Stingray 5 in excellent condition with a weight of 9lb 12oz according to our kitchen scales.  There are two small dings which I've included in the photos - one just inside the bridge and the other which is top front middle.  Recently professionally set up with new round wounds (would need to try and check model of strings) that still have plenty of life in them.  A vintage style hard case (not original) is included within the price and is fully functional.  Happy to meet up within an hour's drive or collection from Long Ashton which is just outside Bristol.  Also open to posting within its case and would be well bubble wrapped and boxed up.  Thanks for looking

Update: Final Price drop to £475.
I've has this for a few years but, as it doesn't get played much now, I'm reluctantly letting it go. Never been gigged. It's got some fairly new Ernie Ball roundwounds on it, and comes in a plush lined soft case. Plays beautifully, and as you might expect from these basses, the tone can be thunderous! It's in very good overall condition with a couple of minor dings below the controls, which I've shown in one of the photos. My bathroom scales indicate a weight of around 10 pounds.
You're welcome to come round and try it if you're in the area (near M1 Junction 29 in Derbyshire). I'd prefer collection or meet up, but would ship at buyer's expense (estimate at £35 including insurance).
