EMG 40P Pick up - SOLD, FLOGGED, GONE, NO MORE, etc

Recommended Posts

Hi Chaps,

I swapped this for one of my original EMG DC's a while ago with The Rinder off these parts - It's a cracking pick-up with more punch than a seaside resort! Truth be told, I prefer the more balanced setup of the DC and CS that I've got in the bass now (It made my bass a little bit too uber punchy).

Anyway, I can supply pick if needed, but all the details are here: http://www.emginc.com/displayproducts.asp?...p;categoryid=29

Apparently there are actually for 6 string bass, but it seemed to be fine in my 5-er with 18mm spacing.

Not sure how much a single one goes for (a new one is about £85 from The Gallery 0 if they can get hold of them!) PM me with offers, postage will prolly be about £5.

Included will be the Volume and Tone harnessing (one Vol and one Tone), and the battery connector.

Cheers and all the best,

Rich

Note that the 40P probably won't work well on a 5-string, since the A (middle) string would fall between the two coils. They have a 40P5 model that fixes that, with coils in a 3+2 shape, same as the 35P I have (alongside a 35J).
