super.rad Posted February 2, 2009 Share Posted February 2, 2009 Been lurking on these forums for about a year now, signed up last year when I was looking for a new bass but haven't posted much so decided it was time to introduce myself. My names Ben, I'm 21 and been playing bass properly for about a year now (played guitar for many years and had a cheap bass lying around that I never used until I was asked if I wanted to join a band as the bassist so sold all my guitar stuff and started playing bass). I'm currently living in Carmarthen but spend my weekends at band rehearsals in Cwmbran. I play in a punk band called [url="http://www.myspace.com/strawberryblondes"]Strawberry Blondes[/url] I play a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz through a Kustom Groove 1200w with Kustom 4x10 cab (also have a crap P-Bass copy as my backup bass, made by a company called Black?). With a birthday coming up soon (tomorrow) I'm hoping to pick up a 3rd bass so I can leave the P-Bass copy at home for practice and have 2 decent basses for gigging.
