Cheers Bud - Nice neck of the woods BTW :) - Staying near Corfe next week (Sorry not Bass related!) What rig do you have?
Oh very nice. There's a few luthiers around Somerset/Wiltsire/Dorset, a lovely wood store also - if you're into that sort of thing.

Rig wise, I just use a Trace combo with a load of added crap to (try and) make it sound like a valve amp.

For a nice Corfe pub, The Halfway Inn at Norden is alright when it's not too crowded. Good food too.

Chin chin,

paul.

Mornin! - Sorry - no pics - bought it for £280 in 1984  flogged it to a mate 1 year later (after I packed in) to buy a car :) Tried to buy back off mate 6 months later but he had PX'd for a Status in a shop in Liverpool. It was a Burgundy Pro One single pickup with a battery recess on the scratchplate. It played like a dream........Any idea how much Pro Ones are today?
How can you have a 1981 Japanese Fender? I thought they only started Fender in Japan in March 1982, with production beginning in April 1982?!
Serial Number check = 1981 (BASSBOOK) - Thanks for your interest anyway - 1981 isnt exactly vintage! I would have preferred a Sunburst '67 I could have had in 1982 for £350 from A1 in Manchester Oxford Road....
