Custom Sound (Trucker 1x12") with BOSS EQ Marshall 50w....(Why?) with Marshall 4x12" 1978 Fender Precision from Chase Music in Manchester Marshall 100w...thats better! McGregor 150w 2 Peavey 1x15" Cabs Trace Elliot GP7 - One of the first in the country in 1983 from A1 in Manchester WAL Pro One - 1981 WAL...! Trace/Peavey Rig Fender and WAL sold Noooooooooooooo! due to realizing I could never play like Mark King and developed interest in Cars and Women..... 1995 - Stuff Mark King!!!!!..... 1995 Bass Collection fretless - Cack Fender 1967? reissue in some sort of tiger stripe finish - I must have been pissed! Peavey Microbass Fender Jap 1981 - battered to hell - bargain for £150 (See below) Ashdown Five Fifteen - Cheap and Cack - expired after 30 months Today.... AMPEG BA115T with Above battered Precision Relogo(ed) to 70's TV friendly PRECISION BASS logo new ROTOSOUNDS and setup plays like a dream................................ What rig do you have?[/quote] Oh very nice. There's a few luthiers around Somerset/Wiltsire/Dorset, a lovely wood store also - if you're into that sort of thing. Rig wise, I just use a Trace combo with a load of added crap to (try and) make it sound like a valve amp. For a nice Corfe pub, The Halfway Inn at Norden is alright when it's not too crowded. losendos Posted July 29, 2007 Author Share Posted July 29, 2007 Mornin! - Sorry - no pics - bought it for £280 in 1984 flogged it to a mate 1 year later (after I packed in) to buy a car Tried to buy back off mate 6 months later but he had PX'd for a Status in a shop in Liverpool.It was a Burgundy Pro One single pickup with a battery recess on the scratchplate.It played like a dream........Any idea how much Pro Ones are today? I would have preferred a Sunburst '67 I could have had in 1982 for £350 from A1 in Manchester Oxford Road....
