I got a rather nice surprise at practice last night.

I used to take my own gear but have gotten lazy in my old age so I just take my bass, a strap and a cable.

Fair enough I was using my Warwick so it does have a good sound to begin with but I played through an Ashdown Mag 300 15" combo attached to a Peavey 4x10" and it sounded rather good.

Not sure which cab I was hearing the most from though. I was sitting down on a very comfy couch with the rig right next to me.

Its a times like these that I would like to have a rig capable of reproducing the low end better. I love my Schroeder, its loud and punchy as hell, but I wouldn't mind something now and again that has a bit more bollocks about it.
