thebigclunk Posted December 2, 2008 Share Posted December 2, 2008 Hi - the name is Big Jim, l come from Northamptonshire UK, l have been a bass player for 45 years, l play anything from blues to heavy metal and country to funk, l use any of about 10 basses, including 2 stingrays and 5 westone thunders about half are fretless, and l play them through a Marshall VBA400 and VBC810. l also repair instrumentsn and amps as a sideline. l am 60 years old and currently in 3 bands; a heavy rock outfit, another heavy rock outfit and a 60's singalong band. l sometimes play double bass in an acoustic band.
