Bass related uni/college in UK

So, this year I'm high-school graduate, and, I'm not sure, where to go next..

I'm seriously thinking about bass-involved music studies. We don't have any serious colleges/universities here in Lithuania, so, I hope that somebody here could recommend me some good bass-related music studies in UK universities/colleges..

I have graduated 8-year music school, my English isn't very bad (or is it?.. :) ), though I haven't live abroad for long before, but, I think I'd cope with it, if needed..

Sorry to be abstract this time, I do simply need your recommendations. It doesn't need to be the greatest uni/college in UK, simply, all variants with decent tutors, programme, accomodation etc. are welcome,

Cheers, fellas
Faith..

When my son was at BIMM in Brighton there were significantly more guitarists that bass players so that at the end of term concerts bass players would be in two or three bands whilst guitarists could struggle to find one and end up trying their hand a bass.

Organisation was a tad flaky at times. We had a couple of instances of required coursework handed in and lost that almost cost him the good pass he got.

ACM is just over the road from my office and looked OK facility wise when I went there for a BGM bass day a few years back.

I can't really comment on either so far as bass is concerned though

I spent 3 years at ACM and got a lot out of it, the facilities are good and the tutors in the bass department know their stuff. Like WalMan said, there are likely to be far less bass players than guitarists on most courses so plenty of gigs should come your way. As for BIMM and ICMP I can't really comment as I haven't experienced them.
