A very little know fact but in about 82 we used to practice in Kensington studios and this one time it was double booked so they chucked us in the space Motorhead had been using.  The backline was all there's, don't think it was their on the road stuff but a huge wall of Marshals and a peavey  bass head and couple of blackwidow 2' 15's (think it was). The owner said the pa and settings on everything had all been left by the band the evening before. We plugged in all excitedly only to find we sounded like absolute stinky poo  through those settings I still think we were lucky as the only other room choice was where the Boomtown rat's had been lol.
