Neck-through construction; the neck is built from maple and mahogany with an ebony fingerboard, inlaid with figured abalone. Tuners are mother-of-pearl. The body is made of maple and alder. Like the discontinued Yamaha TRB 5PII / 6PII models, the bridge features individual, machined saddles. Also featured is a 3 band EQ, plus a mid boost and cut switch and dial.
