[color=#ACACAC][font=Arial, sans-serif][color=#000000]The preamp is 9V battery powered, but you can add an additional battery to give 18 and ensure more headroom and longer battery life. The preamp c[/color][color=#000000]an be combined with both active and passive pickups.[/color][/font][/color]

[color=#ACACAC][font=Arial, sans-serif][color=#000000]The stacked pots have 4 mm (upper) and 6 mm (lower) solid shafts. Black stacked pots are included.[/color][/font][/color]

Couldn't agree more, it's just wasted in my fretless as I never use the active circuit - it just sounds so good in passive!
