***PRICE DROPPED TO £325, THAT'S £300+25 SHIPPING, ON ADVICE FROM FELLOW BASSCHATTERS, THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT FOLKS, JUST TRYING TO RECOUP MY INITIAL OUTLAY***

Here we have the AWESOME Squier CHRIS AIKEN Signature Bass.
Easily as good as any Fender Bass I've played.
These are quite Rare now so pick up a future collectors Bass.

Don't really want to part with it, but only doing so as I needed an active Bass for my latest band and it was a toss up between selling this or my Matt Freeman to fund it.

This Bass is REALLY, REALLY, well built. The Body is Heavy for a Squier, and coupled with the excellent bridge provides great punch and sustain. The Duncan Designed pickups are excellent, very powerful, not quite as powerful as SPB-2's, but still better than stock. The neck is a dream, very smooth, pretty slim, almost Jazz like, very comfortable. Beautiful look with the binding and block inlays, totally unique.

I bought this Modified. The previous owner put in quality components, my tech confirmed that too. A tone pot was added, as the original has only a volume. Now, I don't know how this has changed the sound from the original, but you get punchy clear Precision sound and humping, pumping with the tone rolled off. The input Jack is a switchcraft, so a switchcraft jack lead would be ideal to use, I had my tech make me a couple, it's a switchcraft 280 jack. I've added a Black Scratchplate, also have a 2nd Scratchplate which I will include (see pics).
Now on the Scratchplate, my tech had to drill another hole to accommodate the Black one, the original Mirrored one must have been a slightly irregular fit, there's teensy weensy gap near the jack socket (see pics) this in no way affects the sound or really the look as you wouldn't even notice it, the volume & tone pots are a touch stiff, maybe my tech over tightened em but there's no scratchy sound or anything, never bothered to adjust them to be honest. There's a small mark (see pics) but i think it's just a surface mark, not a dent or ding.

Apart from that it's immaculate, I can't find anything wrong with it at all.
BTW More Pics available on request.

£350 includes U.K. Shipping. Not really after Trades, but you never know.
