Westone Thunder 1A in mint condition!

- Includes original Westone hard case

A very nice and colectable Active Bass.
It is an early 1983 model and in new condition, very clean.

Has no scratches or bumps. (Not even a Belt/Strap/Zip mark to the rear of the body!)

For more pics PM me I will try to get some better pics in Daylight?
You can pick the Bass up from Ellesmere Port / Wrexham or Chester Services on M56.
I could post, Never posted anything this big before?? :)
Selling as I need to fund a custom build, otherwise would happily keep this true classic.

Full Features list =

-Made by Matsumoku of Japan (1983)
-22 frets
-Light Oak Body with laminated stripes.
-Rosewood Fingerboard.
-Laminated Neck.
-volume, passive tone, active tone, coil tap, phase reverse, active/passive switching.
-Westone pickups
-9v battery
-a shape all its own
-string through bridge sounds great/sustains forever
-westone tuners
-thin neck, feels great

The only minor points -

1 = Someone has changed the control knobs!
2 = The Active/Passive switch is a little temprimental (Just needs a wiggle) expect a dry joint or dicky switch.
3 = The only slight wear is to the finish on the bridge.

£180 posted to your door!

Thanks Justin.

PS = The bass has also been advertised locally.

and you can throw that 18" speaker in with the deal .....I like to be generous..
Nice one Paul, I haven't forgot. I am on the phone to him now mate!

His garage is like Aladins Cave.

He has promised to dig it out this week?

I know i should keep hold of the Westone but my neck has cost me $540 so far!

Cheers mate!

Justin.

Have a bump on me....

Would love to buy as it looks better than the one I foolishly sold earlier this year, plus the original case is pretty rare, and all for £20.00 more than a S****R

Bargain.......probably one of the most underrated basses ever made, better than some Fender offerings with the same pup layout dare I say
Its an 83 model if that helps.....25 years young
