[/quote] Read my earlier post about Sonar and reaper and studio One. If the Platinum is free, grab it and give it a try. It is currently my saecond choice. Just read about the "you cant sell or give away Sonar" and yeah - I suppose if you want to take it online you will need your buddy`s registration and password for Sonar Command Center. And you will have to keep to it. Could cause problems when cakewalk email HIM about what is now YOUR DAW unofficially. Just get the reaper demo. If you like it, it is only $60 for two whole upgrasde versions from what you buy. And the version you get is the same as the $200 professional user version.
