However I am in dire need of two different sounds - a 5-string (preferably a Musicman) and a Jazz-Bass type. If the right J or high end 5-string shows up I can add maybe a Pedulla MVP in a 2 for 1 deal So, this one is for sale/trade. Its a LOVELY 79' Sabre with some light modding - which actually have made it more versatile! It has a added passive tone control with active/passive push/pull option. The knob has been installed in the old output jack and the output has been moved to the side. Also the phase switch has been changed to a coil tap and a high filter has been added. Very clean job and very useable! The bass is in other wise GREAT condition and has an amazing neck capable of low action. I am thinking with the low pound that 1800£ is fair - but i am open to reasonable offers. (I am after 2000 euros for this one). Will ship in a generic hardshell case.
