For sale an excellent Bravewood JazzBass. Three years ago I bought the bass from John Elliot. Played it a lot and it really is a fantastic bass.

1375 GBP + shipping.

Alder body, maple neck, rosewood slab fingerboard.
Weight about 4.3 kg or 9.4 lbs
Nice glowing nitro sunburst with tasty relicing. No extra relicing ;-)
Bare Knuckle pickups.
CTS pots
Frets 100 %.
Very easy playing neck. Slim, fast, worn in.
Clay dots
Tort pickguard
Bakelite knobs

Well, it's all period correct ( '62/'63 ) and working 100%.

Hiscox case in very good condition

Looks, feels and sounds like a (good) old Fender Jazz. The real thing would cost you a lot more.

That's right I'm a 62 years old bassplayer from Holland. I live in Nijmegen ( near the German border ). Used to play Wal's a lot in the eighties. Now it's Fender (style). As simple as possible and light (!). Those old bones are not getting younger ;-)

Guys I had a chance to play this instrument yesterday, It's truely a fantastic bass I mean visually, soundwise and feel. Shape of the neck is like butter, nice big warm tone. In all very impressed with John's (Bravewood) work.
Seller is a great guy, one can buy with confidence;)

Glwts!
