Overwater Custom made 5-string bass. 35" scale. With Hiscox moulded case.

The bass is loosely based on the Overwater Progress model, but the body is a little more sculpted.

The neck is of 3-piece maple and sycamore construction with an Ebony fingerboard and runs through the body which is faced in Ash, with a Walnut rear. As you might expect from the wood combinations, the sound is very natural - warm and punchy, but has very great definition.

The front of the headstock is faced in Ebony to match the fingerboard. It's a very good looking instrument, which is further enhanced by the flame of the Ash body face wood.

The bottom B string has a very strong sound, helped by the 35" scale.

The tuners are black to compliment the Ebony, as is the bridge.

The bass features a very simple preamp that offers +/- 15db bass and treble. The controls are volume, pan, bass, treble.

Although the bass hasn't left my home/studio and hasn't been played for some time, it has previously been gigged regularly and whilst it's in very good condition, has a couple of minor cosmetic marks mainly on the upper edge of the body and a couple of nail marks on the body front just under the top string. Outside of that it's in perfect condition.

Everything is in perfect working order and the bass has had a recent service/set up in the Overwater factory.

Priced to sell at £1,200 plus shipping. No trades please.

I'm based in the North East (UK)
