For sale a truly incredible and innovative instrument which I already regret putting up for sale. The usage of this instrument is still in a development phase. It is not just a great sounding bass (warmoth/nordstrand/hipshot) with zero latency midi tracking, it's much much more. It's magic is not in the fact that you can play synth lines with bass guitar, it's in a fact that you can play both of them simultaneously in varying manner + endless programming possibilites (i.e playing different synths under each string etc)

- General Information

I owned the first version of this instrument which I sold due to few minor issues regarding velocity when trying to mix bass sound with synth sound. But I couldn't resist buying it again when new version came out.

These features included new:

- FSI-1 Fretsense Interface (USB connection etc)
http://www.industria...-interface.html

- RadioPick for ultra percise tracking for pick users
http://www.industria.../radiopick.html

- NI Reaktor 6 based Imprint Module (an envelope to adjust synth sound based on bass audio signal)
http://www.industria...e-rev-1-01.html

But still, the reality is that I have used this bass only few times. I just don't have time for it and think it deserves a better owner who will make music with it.

So, the Instrument is basically brand new! Together with shipping from Australia and import taxes it cost approx 4650€

For using the full capabilites using this instrument with Imprint Module you also need (+hardware or software synth):

- Plogue Bidule: Modular Audio Sowtware - 80€

- NI Reaktor 6 - 199€

- NI Massive - 149€
https://www.native-i...synths/massive/

I will added licences for these to the deal for free!

Price 3500€ + shipping

WOW!!!! - I'd love to try one of these out. It's one of those basses that has been on the radar for years and I'm always intrigued to see how the technology is progressing, but alas, with such technology, requires a budget! Very nice indeed.

Yes, it is totally crazy what you can to with it regarding setup and the Imprint really opens up the options. Check this http://www.industrialradio.com.au/company/blog/poly-4-l-setup-in-bidule.html

As I already said, the main cool feature of Imprint is that you can alter synth sounds with bass guitar resposivity i.e you are not just playing synth lines (what you can do with regular midi keyboard more easily) but add a totally new dynamics and sound aspect to synth sound

With the wired fretboard I imagine that latency isn't really a problem either?
