It's an olympic wite nitro finish with an alder body and maple neck with a scale lenght of 34". It both sounds and plays like a dream and I've got it strung with Thomastik Jazz Flats for a more "vintagey" sound. The bass has a few smaller dents and minor wear on the back of the bass and on the upper waist (or what ever it's called), i.e. normal nitro finish wear.
