I have no idea of the magnet material, but here are the details: - Serial E09543, final setup: September 22, 1999. - Model: SR5-H Bolt-On, 34" Scale, Headed. - Neck: American Maple, 5 Strings, Fretted, Maple Fingerboard. - Body: Ash. - Pickups: 1x Music Man (humbucker + phantom coil) - Circuit: Music Man SR 3-band, 9V. - Hardware: Silver. - Hard case. Damonjames Posted October 13, 2016 Posted October 13, 2016 I would guess alnico. The very first run had ceramic, then alnico up until only a few years ago when they switched back I believe. Not sure if that coincides with the release of the sterling 5 which has the alnico.

[/quote]Thank you, it is a really crazy instrument, both sonically and aesthetically, but it is not much used by my friend and is inside its case because it personally prefer the Fender.
