Hello - in the second picture (the bits), are there enough parts to put together a working (albeit mismatched) set? In other words can I find two strap buttons to put on an instrument, and two locks to put on a strap?

The second picture shows complete fittings for the strap and strap buttons but unfortunately only one screw. You will need one screw to have two straps and two basses fitted up.

Thanks for the reply. Final two questions: it looks like there are enough bits in the second photo for three strap locks (one and a half straps), is that correct? And are those black strap buttons the larger Dunlop type?

The second picture shows that you could get three strap locks for one and half straps.... hope that makes sense.
