jeigenbass Posted February 9, 2016 Share Posted February 9, 2016 Hi all, For years I used a Boss ME50B as my mothership for all FX related things but recently I've built up a nice little pedalboard. The next slot that needs filling is compression. The ME50B had a beautiful little setting of a DBX 160 soft knee emulator. The touch to the sound was transparent and subtle while providing some really nice and rounded punchy compression. Does anyone know of any compression pedals out there that would have a similar effect? I believe the DBX had a VCA circuit. Gratitude!
