Duarte
Does anyone know if it is possible to mod the bass microsynth to enable you to control the filter sweep as you play using an expression pedal? Anyone know of anyone who could do it? That would be a COOL sound! Thanks Edited August 27, 2008 by Duarte
Alien
It should be pretty simple. Use an expression pedal with a similar value to the internal filter sweep pot, and a switching jack to disconnect the sweep pot when the pedal's plugged in. There you go - easy. phagor
Some threads on Talkbass about this: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.p...=bms+expression http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.p...=bms+expression I can see the value of having an expression pedal input for the BMS. For me, I'd just like the Start and/or Stop levels to be affected by the bass input level, so that the filter works more like a normal envelope filter. Native Instruments' Guitar Rig has a BMS 'clone' and you can tweak it in this way - really like the results, although I'm not ready to start gigging with a laptop
