lowregisterhead Posted April 12, 2015 Share Posted April 12, 2015 (edited) For sale is a Lakland 55-64 Skyline P5 in sunburst with a rosewood neck. It was made in 2010 (Indonesia) and is in very good overall condition. It was picked out by Dan Lakin for its original owner, Phil Simmonds (Jessie J etc) and has had some use, so although it has a few very small dings which I've tried to show in the photos, and a slight gap in the pickup cover around one of the poles, there's nothing of any major consequence. A new set of D'Addario EXL170 nickels have just been fitted, and it plays really nicely, with a big, fat tone! 35" scale, through-body or bridge stringing. Weighs in at 4.5kg on my digital bathroom scales. I bought this only recently, but as nice a bass as this is, I have to concede I'm just not a P bass guy, so I'm reverting to my Lakland DJ5.
