Hi Guys,

I think one of my 10' drivers is on it's way (centre is detatched from the paper cone)

I need some advice on a possible repair..... (is it possible to glue it ? if so what type of glue)

or advice needed on easily available replacement drivers that will match the cab and perform well

I have a gig on saturday so time isn't on my side here

The details of the cab can be found here it's the 210 non neo

Thanks Guys

Mark

Hi Mark

Do you mean the domed dust cover in the centre of the speaker? If so that can be glued back carefully usually without affecting the performance of the speaker. If on the other hand it is the main cone, repairs are not usually very successful.

I have a pair of nearly new Celestion 200watt 10" bass speakers if you need them, but I dont know how they would sound in your cab!
If you are really stuck I can lend you a Peavey 410TVX cab ( 4 ohms ) But im in Leeds mate

Regards

Will.

Hi Will....

Thanks that's really kind....

I think it might just be the dust cover (my technical knowledge of drivers etc is rubbish)

now i've tested it by itself without the other cab it sounds ok..... I guess i'm just paranoid as amps & cabs have let me down so often (including some expensive stuff)

Superglue. Put a bead around the joint, then spray it with cure accelerator.
