kurcatovium Posted July 24, 2014 Share Posted July 24, 2014 Hi basschat, I've got this bass (MTD Beast 5) that I'm not using much lately and I'd love to get fretless. Question for you, guys, is: Should I get it defretted or rather trade it for "factory" fretless bass? That beast is really good, at least now with frets, and I like the sound, although I might prefer a slightly thinner width at nut and/or it could be a hair lighter (it's not heavy, it's just that I'm spoiled by my main Cort/Elrick which is super-light).
