Harry Posted November 1, 2013 Author Share Posted November 1, 2013 Hi Mark i was lucky enough to get to try it before i bought one. Great amp, really nice tone, the lows are fat and well rounded and the highs are really clear. The amp is very versatile in the way of getting a variety of traditional ampeg sounds to a very modern tone from it. Mids are great also if you like them. the tube driven power reduction part of it works really well, very old school grind, emulates it really well, and lots of it if you want it, you don't need it on much to get the "tube breakup " sound out of it. I tried it a couple of times with my svt pre but found i didn't need the pre with it at all as the amp did it all.
