JapanAxe Posted October 1, 2013 Share Posted October 1, 2013 I suppose the hard part might be finding a dealer with stock, but as a first fretless it's got to be a good option - cheap as chips, and lines instead of frets to help you get started. [/quote] I love rosewood boards , the one on my Shuker P is gorgeous . The Gibson SG I had had an ebony fretboard which I also liked , but I've never tried ebanol . Is it plasticy in feel ? Karnage Posted October 2, 2013 Share Posted October 2, 2013 I have played the Squier Jazz Vintage Modified Fretless, probably the same neck materials, and I thought it was amazing for about £275 or so. Had Duncan Designed pickups if I remember right, and they sounded great for that price bracket to me. I'd expect the Precision to offer the same value/quality.
