JakeFoordBass Posted September 19, 2013 Share Posted September 19, 2013 Hi All, For sale is my Bina Sitar. I don't know an awful lot about sitars but it seems like a pretty good one. It needs quite a few strings replacing, it used to have 18, now it only has 15! However, the melody string is there, along with 4 of the 6 drone strings, meaning it just needs 2 drone and 1 sympathetic string replacing. It comes in a kind of hard case and has a protective bag. I'll include the contact mic that's taped to it and a book on how to play. The Mizrab (metal wire plectrum thing) is in there too. It's done me well over the years despite my lack of knowledge and even got a little bit of airtime on Bobby Friction's Radio 1 show a few years back on a track I did with an American dude called Hargo. If nothing else, it's a beautiful bit of decoration for the house!
