Hi Folks,
I am trying to connect my superfly to my xp laptop and am struggling. I previously had it working with version 1.31 of the software but that isn't available anymore and I can't get version 1.40 to work.

Does anyone have a copy of version 1.31 that I can try to see if it works?

Thanks

Andy :)

Ashdown do here (pointing to this download file).

Was it the laptop you connected to before? You're not going via any hubs or switches are you? And, er, you have got the MIDI/USB switch switched to USB, haven't you?

I tried the Ashdown site already and the link comes up "page cannot be found" - I emailed Ashdown and they say that version 1.31 is no longer available and to use version 1.40 which should work!

The superfly is plugged straight into the laptop - the laptop sees the superfly but the editor software won't connect to it. I've tried using the compatability mode (telling the application it's running in windows 98) but that hasn't helped either.

I decided to spend some time fiddling with the software (version 1.40) - I fiddled with the compatibility modes (right click on the application > settings > compatability) and when I changed it from win98 to windows 2000 and restarted the editor it worked!

I hate it when it is something that simple!
