I previously had it working with version 1.31 of the software but that isn't available anymore and I can't get version 1.40 to work. And, er, you have got the MIDI/USB switch switched to USB, haven't you?[/quote] I tried the Ashdown site already and the link comes up "page cannot be found" - I emailed Ashdown and they say that version 1.31 is no longer available and to use version 1.40 which should work! The superfly is plugged straight into the laptop - the laptop sees the superfly but the editor software won't connect to it. lowhand_mike Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 have you checked your firewall allowed applications? it may just be that that is blocking it as its a new bit of software and windows security settings tend to be a bit over protective. backwater Posted June 16, 2008 Author Share Posted June 16, 2008 I decided to spend some time fiddling with the software (version 1.40) - I fiddled with the compatibility modes (right click on the application > settings > compatability) and when I changed it from win98 to windows 2000 and restarted the editor it worked!
