burno70 Posted January 11, 2014 Author Share Posted January 11, 2014 I still haven't managed to front the funds to buy one of these yet I've been making do with my trusty Whammy IV, which is still a brill pedal to be fair. urb Posted January 13, 2014 Share Posted January 13, 2014 Hey guys - I've been researching this pedal a bit more and it does look/sound like it's got some incredible features but in terms of sheer tracking it seems to me that the EHX Hog and Hog2 really beat it on clarity and tracking - even though there's no much in it in terms of price for the Hog2 There are a couple of very good videos here comparing the two - for now I'm holding off buying either as I've got enough gear to work with right now - but overall the Hog 2 (not in these vids) seems to be the way to go in terms of tracks - the Hammond sound is f-ing amazing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSRaUZWiIEM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tl6Kd-65rX0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
