On my receiving it there was the slightest blemish on the edge at the rear of the body adjacent to the corner of the cover and I have struggled to photo it. It is totally unseen from the front and visible only if you go for really close inspection; but disclosed it is. Plays beautifully, comes with the soft case/bag and will be packed well for posting in its box. Should also mention it comes with a tripod stand which fits into the large pocket in the carrying case.. There is a switch to toggle between them for bowing (arco) and plucking (pizzicato), because the strings vibrate differently under the bow than when plucked; each pickup in the "Polar Pickup" system is specialized for each task.
