For sale, my 1976/77 Fender Precision bass. I bought this bass new in autumn 1976, it's 1977 model. I have all the original parts except the Knobs. At the moment it has a badass2 bridge and a tort scratchplate. The original scratchplate is black and has a microswitch fitted between the tone knob and jack socket. This was for a parallel/series switch on a Dimarzio p bass pickup i had fitted in the late 70's. I have the original bridge, bell covers and thumb rest, so the bass can be returned to original spec. The pots date to week 25 1976.
The neck has origin frets and hasn't been removed, the neck pocket looks nice and tight and strings are aligned nicely on the neck....no one sided G string like some. It is currently strung with Thomastik jazz flats. The bass comes with a Hiscox lite flight case. The bass is in very good condition for its age, there are a few belt marks on the back, and tuners are a bit tarnished. Some small wear marks on the edge of the body, but pretty good for a gigged 36+ year old bass.
I'm looking for (WITHDRAWEN)
Thanks
Iain Harkness
